Mr. Imtiaz Feroz Gondal is a career diplomat and a member of the Foreign Service of Pakistan since 2005. He assumed charge as Consul General of Pakistan in Manchester in August 2025.

Prior to his current assignment, he served as Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad (2023–2025) and as Deputy Head of Mission/Minister at the Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi (2020–2023).

His previous diplomatic assignments include Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan in Madrid and First Secretary at the Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, he has served in various capacities, including Director, Deputy Chief of Protocol and Deputy Director, working across bilateral diplomacy, foreign policy and protocol.

Mr. Gondal received specialised Chinese language training at the China Foreign Affairs University, Beijing. He holds an LL.B. from Punjab University Law College, Lahore.

As Consul General in Manchester, his priorities include strengthening Pakistan–UK relations, promoting trade, investment, education and cultural linkages, and enhancing engagement with the Pakistani community across the North of England.
