Consul General of Pakistan in Manchester held Virtual Khuli Katchehry with Pakistani Community in Greater Manchester

In line with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and under the directions of the Foreign Minister, Consul General of Pakistan, Manchester held the first ever Virtual Khuli Katchehry today and interacted with the diaspora on wide ranging issues.

The event was organized in line with the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to ensure efficient public service delivery to the Pakistani diaspora abroad. A large number of community members from various walks of life attended.

In his remarks, the Consul General said that welfare of the community was one of the top priorities of the Government of Pakistan. He briefed the attendees about the continued efforts of the Mission to provide efficient and seamless consular services to the community, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Community members belonging to Greater Manchester appreciated the Consul General’s outreach efforts and gave useful suggestions to further improve the services, which the Consul General welcomed. The diaspora members contributed with their inputs on a number of other issues facing the diaspora including travel to Pakistan and promotion of COVID-19 vaccination amongst Pakistani community members.
