The Pakistan Consulate General Manchester is pleased to announce that E-Passport services will officially commence from 20 July 2026.
This is a significant milestone in modernizing Pakistan’s passport services and providing applicants with internationally compliant travel documents featuring enhanced security.
Applicants are informed that, effective 20 July 2026, regular Machine-Readable Passports (MRPs) will no longer be available for processing at Pakistan’s Missions abroad, including the Pakistan Consulate General Manchester. All new passport applications will be processed as E-Passports only.
We welcome this important development and look forward to serving the Pakistani community with the new E-Passport facility from 20 July 2026. Applicants are requested to review the fee schedule and plan their applications accordingly.
